Project Car

YELLOW CARS SAFER?

Are bright colored cars safer than dull coloured cars? I've always thought that bright yellow cars are safer but the stats may be complicated by the point that yellow may be a popular a colour with young drivers who have a lot of accidents. MORE

Here is a little study I did about braking with your left foot in cars with automatic transmissions. I think it is a big safety/control advantage. MORE

Who Killed the Electric Car?

In 2002 General Motors scrapped the very promising EV electric car. Why did a car that drivers raved about end up being crushed in an Arizona junkyard? A big conspiracy theory? I believe it. And again the big culprit is Big Oil.

Project Car

My current wheels is this Toyota Echo but I have taken the graphics off. I don't see the graphics as a very good promotional idea. But it was good for security. Nobody would think of steeling this car. And good for safety - the graphics were reflective at night.
